RISE Summer Leadership Institute

RISE Summer Leadership Institute is a residential college readiness program for Black and African American students entering 9th-12th grades in Fall 2024. It emphasizes college readiness, leadership development, and community engagement through workshops led by Black and African American industry leaders and educators. The program aims to enhance college attainment rates, ultimately leading to graduation and entry into various post-secondary education paths.

Topic(s) for the camp include but are not limited to: College Readiness, Choosing A Major, Financial Aid, Work Study, Resume, Black Excellence, Community Service, Personal Growth and Self Care, Mental Health, etc.”

Cost: No cost to apply. If selected to attend, campers pay a $50 non-refundable registration fee.

RISE Spotlight

The most rewarding part of participating in the RISE Leadership program is attending workshops with ASU faculty and staff who taught me how to be a leader, how to put together a resume, and helped me to decide which career options I could explore using the M3 quiz.
