Program Overview

The RISE Summer Leadership Institute is a residential summer experience for rising juniors and seniors who are thinking about college and their future. Participants spend time on Arizona State University’s campus, build leadership skills, and take part in hands-on activities that help them grow as students and leaders. Students will leave the program feeling more confident about their next steps and more connected to their community.

Registration is now open. Applications must be submitted by Monday, March 30th, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Program Details

  • Eligibility: Applicants entering the 11th or 12th grade in Fall 2026 are eligible to apply. While no minimum GPA is required for eligibility, eligible students should demonstrate a GPA of 2.7 or higher.
  • Date and location: June 14-17, 2026 | ASU Tempe
  • Program Fees: Accepted students are required to submit a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure their spot. No other program fees are charged.

The RISE Summer Leadership Institute offers an immersive experience that affirms for students that they truly belong at ASU. Through powerful connections with peers, meaningful learning alongside ASU faculty, and an authentic introduction to college life, students experience Sun Devil culture firsthand. The program helps ignite confidence, expand possibilities, and empower students as they begin to envision their future and chart their pathways forward.
