Setting the stage for college success

Middle school can seem like a daunting transition for many students and their families. Changing classrooms, new teachers, more advanced subjects and even a whole new campus with new peers can be overwhelming. However, many resources are available to ensure that students and their families have the best middle school experience possible.

This video from College Ready AZ features real students providing helpful information to middle schoolers – encouraging them to prepare for high school, take note of their goals and create a plan to achieve them, plan ahead for college and more. These students also express how important it is for middle schoolers to explore their interests and see which degrees and majors appeal most to them.

Students and their families are also encouraged to explore My Future AZ, where students can choose their interests, see which areas of study align best with them and even create a four year plan to help them prepare for high school and college.
