Preparing financially

In addition to meeting the admission requirements, part of preparing for college includes earning merit and need-based scholarships. Volunteering at school and in the community can help students meet specific scholarship requirements. The ASU Scholarship Portal is a good place to start looking for aid. It’s also important that students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid each year beginning in 12th grade. The FAFSA will help the university determine a student’s financial need for the following academic year.
